The Wildflower florals in this month’s stamp club are so versatile and will mix really nicely with a few of the previous Stamp Clubs too. You can create really feminine pretty cards with this set, or you can keep it simple which gives a slightly more masculine feel to your cards, and here’s a step by step for an easy messy watercolour card with some fussy cutting.
Step 1
Stamp out the main image (using your Hybrid Black Shadow ink), grab a couple of green Aqua flows, some water and a paint brush
Step 2
Add some water onto your stamped image, just randomly, and then squeeze in some of your aqua flows.
Step 3
Use your paint brush and more water as desired to move the colour around
Step 4
and while you have ink on your paint brush, add some dainty splatters around the edges too.
Step 5
While your background is drying stamp out another image and a butterfly and use your Nuvo Alcohol Pens to colour them in.
Step 6
Use the coordinating die to cut out your butterfly, and cut the interior frame shaped die from some white pearl card.
Step 7
For a little bit of decoupage, fussy cut out the main 5 flowers from the frame image, these are the easiest to fussy cut and are the largest so they stand out nicely too.
Step 8
To give your background that frame look, add the pearl white piece back in the centre of the stamped image, and then add your fussy cut flowers with some 3D foam.
Step 9
Choose and stamp out your sentiment
Step 10
I love to use a fine black pen to add my own border too
Step 11
then simply snip out your sentiment, and add it to the centre of your card along with that die-cut butterfly too.
Hope you liked this simple card, I think it’d look fab with some extra Nuvo accents too, perhaps a scattering of gems or sequins, or what about some Nuvo Glitter drop dots in the centres of those gorgeous daisy flowers :D Christine xxx
